Program Description
International Economics and Trade is a national first-class program, and has 12 full-time faculty members, including 3 professors, 4 associate professors, and 6 teachers with a doctorate. This program enables students to acquire the basic knowledge, quality and skills for modern business activities, and on this basis, to integrate professional knowledge and skills courses in logistics, to master the basic knowledge and skills of international trade, to understand the current development situation of contemporary international economy and trade, to be familiar with prevailing international trade rules and practices as well as China's foreign trade policies and regulations, and to understand the socioeconomic conditions of major countries and regions. Relying on the "Belt and Road Initiative" practice bases such as Sino-Kazakhstan Logistics Park, SCO (Lianyungang) International Logistics Park, and Port Circulation Service Industry College and the advantages of system innovation in Lianyungang Area of China (Jiangsu) Pilot Free Trade Zone, this program strengthens the integration of theory and practice to train students into high-level, application-oriented, versatile talents who can engage in foreign trade and economic business, international settlement, logistics business management and foreign trade and economic management in foreign trade and economic enterprises, foreign-funded enterprises, foreign trade production enterprises, ports, circulation enterprises, financial institutions, etc.
